Connect Meta

Meta has approved Ads Master’s ads_read permission. The owner publish step and a live callback/read-back still need to be completed before the public connection journey is described as live. Nothing gets turned on or published without you.

What access currently covers

The ads_read permission is approved. Page and Instagram publishing is still pending Meta review for pages_manage_posts and instagram_content_publish. Until those permissions and the live connection proof are complete, Ads Master does not claim public Meta publishing or a fully live account-reading journey. Meta campaign creation also remains available only after Meta review.

Steps

1. From your dashboard, open Connections and select Meta.
2. You’ll be sent to Meta’s own login and permissions flow. Sign in with a Facebook account that has access to the ad account and Business Manager you want to connect.
3. Review the permissions requested, then approve.
4. You’ll be returned to your dashboard with the account marked as connected, and Ads Master begins reading your account structure.

What this unlocks

After the live connection is verified, connected Meta ad data can be used in your free report. Any follow-up work is paid per service after login.

Disconnecting

Disconnect Meta at any time from Connections. This revokes access on Meta’s side as well as inside Ads Master.

Security notes

The same protections apply here as everywhere else: tokens encrypted at rest, 7-day sessions, CSRF protection on every state-changing request, and per-business isolation so one connected account can’t see another business’s data. Details on Trust.
