Using Ads Master

Review a Paused Campaign Before You Switch It On

Ads Master never turns a campaign on. Every campaign it builds — Google Ads, Meta, or Snapchat — is created in paused mode specifically so you review it before anything spends. This page is the checklist for that review.

Why the campaign is paused by default

A campaign built automatically and switched on automatically removes the one step that catches most expensive mistakes: a human looking at the actual settings before money moves. Paused-by-default isn’t a limitation — it’s the review gate.

What to check before switching on

Targeting

  • Does the audience or keyword targeting match who you actually want to reach, not a generic default?
  • For Search campans, is targeting set to Search only, or is Display included when you didn’t intend it?
  • Is the negative keyword list built from real search terms relevant to your business?

Budget

  • Is the daily or campaign budget what you actually intended, not a placeholder?
  • Is the budget split sensibly across ad groups or ad sets, rather than spread too thin to gather real data?

Tracking

  • Is your health score showing tracking as verified for this account? If not, fix that before launching — otherwise you’ll be spending without being able to trust the results.
  • Do the conversion actions attached to this campaign match the actions that actually represent a customer?

Creative and copy

  • For Meta campaigns, does the ad copy read as written for your audience, not translated?
  • Are creative assets the right dimensions and format for where they’ll actually run?

Destination

  • Does the landing page, form, or WhatsApp destination match how your audience actually prefers to make contact?
  • Does the destination page actually load correctly and match what the ad promises?

Switching it on

Once you’ve reviewed every item above and you’re satisfied, you switch the campaign on yourself — from your dashboard or directly in the platform, depending on how you prefer to manage it. Ads Master doesn’t do this step for you, by design.

After launch

Read when do results actually show up for a realistic timeline of what to expect in the first weeks, and re-check your health score periodically — tracking can silently break after a site update even on a campaign that launched clean.
